    Great game!
I had some battery issues but thankfully the great Airdog staff helped me out by charging them.

I was on the US side and we were doing pretty well, but the Zombies kept at us and they eventually won.
Most of the game at the beginning wasn't too interesting, but after the dinner break it got better/harder.
The darkness made the game harder, and the floodlights just blinded me.

Near the end, the highlight of the game was when a team of 5-10 US guys went through the bridge and ALL the way around and behind the Zombies. We rushed hard and we had 2 medics with us so we didn't have much to lose. We got far up until we got surrounded by Zombies, specifically Zombies that came up behind us from the trail we came from.

After we got wiped out there the Zombies pushed up to the US base and completely took it while many of the US guys were leaving.
Game was tons of fun, surprisingly I wasn't tired nor cold at the end of the game. Looking forward to a 24 hr OP (OP:Fear 2?)!

The six of us from Ft. Benning/Columbus had a blast. I'll be honest and say that I felt like us USF guys were a little disorganized with the command structure. None of us were ever really sure what was going on or what we were supposed to be doing other than pushing back on the Zombies. All in all though, had a blast even though my ARES M14 SOPMOD decided to fry literally less than twenty mins into the game.

We took a plain old fashioned country whuppin. Start to finish. No excuses, they just outplayed us the whole time. I know what SC feels like now..lol!
The usual cheating was rampant on both teams but the Reffing was top-notch. Cant see how it could be better. Very Fair in all disputes I witnessed. Props were not overdone and worked great.
My only "complaint" was the Zombie "costumes" or lack thereof. The great majority were dressed as soldiers, and it caused quite a few misidentifications. Especially at night. Would have liked to see ALL Zombies in some type of Civilian clothing.
I had alot of fun...the best for me was outfitting the "spy" zombies at night. I know they had a blast doing it too!

Thanks to Tak, Zartan, and all the Airdog staff for a great OP. Im not looking to General for a while after that. There's aspects of it that are fun, but overall, it kind of paralyzed me...I couldnt seem to play like I usually do..I like to push, push, push...and I just couldnt do that today.

It was a well played game IMO. Cheating always happen really wish those guys would get a clue about the honor system. As far as the USF push up the creek we knew you were there just didn't want to get are feet wet. Had alot of fun holding, as you said 25, guys from crossing the creek for 10 min with only 3 Zombies.

Thanks to the Airdog staff see you in Dec.

we had a great time. our AEG's worked fine except for a newly traded G&G that broke down (easy fix). had one p90 break the suppressor thread mount. we came prepared with plenty of batteries/Lipos and bb's. heard many worrying about dead batteries. i didn't expect to entertain everyone when i was being chased around a barrier by the helio. had to make sure that tail-gunner didn't sight me in.

the U.S. forces early attempt to capture zombie base failed. zombies spawned and overwhelmed them. Kudo's to poopdaddy. i didn't bring any radios and his intel helped me find key areas (i went mostly solo but participated in many push attacks).

night game was intense. flashlights and strobes rendered my NV useless. so had to wait for darkness again. goggles started fogging but finally figured out why. i had a hoodie and shemagh on and all the heat was escaping through my face. when i took off the hoodie, the goggle fan cleared up the lens instantly.

    here's some NV captured video.

Zombiefest III AAR Empty Zombie fest III AAR (wolf six)

    Post  wolf six 30.10.11 3:14

After arriving two hours late i chrono'd in and got on the field, i ran into Ak andrew without realizing it and found out that we were having our A___ handed to us.

I noticed that the US forces were extremely gung ho; by this i mean having poor tactics, yelling countdowns so the whole field could hear it, giving cover fire when no enemy was within 100 yards ( actually stopped a group and said "what are you shooting at?" then started dancing in the middle of the field saying "look at all these enemy shooting at me")
I finally grabbed a group of little kids and started over running like two or three bunkers, then we got piled up behind a wall bunker in the field near US base and people just never advanced Mad
I actually got a safety kill when some zombie ran up on the opp side of the bunker i had advanced to

I left early due to personal reasons (they also ruined zombie fest for me last year, so thank you Evil or Very Mad )

I wasn't able to see the game through, i'm sure you all had a valiant struggle against the undead forces

This game was great! It was my girlfriends first game ever and she had a great time. My gun was working great until it stopped working the last 10 mins. of the first game, I think it just the fuse. But the night game was the best, at one point I was walking back from the enemies base and found myself walking along side with a group of ACU wearers. I got two of them to call their hits while the others ran off.

Hmmmm... I remember Alex being chased by a chopper gunner around a bunker. That was just a funny sight to see.

Then the night game came and it was just chaos, no one knows who's who. Thanks to the zombie medic that revived 5 of us US soldiers btw, that was great.

    Then comes Sgt Andy,

    Zombiefest III AAR 11020371

Slitting everyone's throats and molesting zombies.

Lol, I think everyone saw this. I tried to get it on camrea but the helio gave up by the time I fished in my pouch for the viedo cam.

I'm guessing your girlfriend was Cheyanne? We met briefly behind a bunker. There's not a lot of girls who play there, so I thought I should meet her. I'm still in the process of getting a bunch of girl's together to make a girl's airsoft team. I thought she might want to be a part of it, even though she's fairly new.She said she planed on playing other games. ^^

flip wrote:Thanks to the zombie medic that revived 5 of us US soldiers btw, that was great.
Yeah, That was Kirste. She was was talking about how she accidently revived a bunch of US by accident. xD

I really needed this game. Got to shoot lots of ppl. Got to knife even more. No kidding......I think I got into the 20's on knife kills in less than 15 minutes. It was after the flare and the field was dark. I asked a couple of Zombies if they minded if I just hung out and then respawned from the middle of the field....since I was all by my self anyway. "Yeah sure"......OK!!! If I got you, speak up, it might be kinda funny to hear how you were standing there in the middle of the field when suddenly, a hand grabs you by the left shoulder while an arm comes around your right side and goes accross your throat. "You're dead. Be quite, sit down, and pull out your red chem light." Unfortunately, most did not. To the 2 guys that i grabbed by their throats....sorry dudes. Your buddy had just been killed as you walked up and he told you "Kill him". One of you had a pony tail.

Beware of the guy that walks up to you all friendly-like with his hands in the air..... Wink

Getting healed by Alex's daughter cause she thought we were the Un-Dead....awesome. WHO NEEDS A MEDIC? WE DO!!! MEDIC!!! ARE YOU ZOMBIE OR US? MEDIC!!!!!! WHAT SIDE ARE YOU ON? WE NEED A MEDIC!!! WE'RE ALL DEAD!!! OK.

I think uniforms worn by Z's added to a lot of confusion for the US. Maybe next year...Civilian clothing ONLY for Zombie's. If you are going to be US...FULL CAMO ONLY. Too many players on both sides were wearing a mix of both.

I don't mind if Zombies out-number US. Maybe they shouldn't be as well armed? Pistol's, shotgun's, blade weapons, clubs. Put US in the town where they have to defend the populace from the Zombie Horde. It could be semi only and maybe use NIGHTSTALKER rules where you get hit and have to freeze/laydown for a given time. After so many hits you have to respawn?

Also.....if you are under the age of 13....YOU DON'T GET A FLASHLIGHT!!!!(unless it is a very low power one that you can use to only see where you are walking) Getting back-lit by...ppl that don't know how to tacticaly use a light....sucks. If you wan't to use your geewhizcool light....get to the front.

I'ma quit hatin' now....sry fo the rant.

I really did have a great time. The 11.1 in my JG was awesome. I need to get another game in soon so I can use it more.

Thanks to everyone on both sides that made this so much fun

PS. glad ya'll liked the fireworks....wish i had more.... Wink

OOPS. Ha, did I heal the wrong team? Well I go where I'm needed n__n lol

Yeah, so the medics don't heal the wrong side. I think more zombies should have looked like zombies...Put on some white face paint, get a white t-shirt and put some red paint on it, ripped clothes, a zombie mask, anything to make it look like we're just not playing a normal game of airsoft. It's zombie fest. Sad

To Wolf Six, that was my guys yelling the countdowns for the whole field to hear. We only did it when we were about to rush an enemy position, as I've found over the years that screaming it kinda makes em a bit more nervous.
